Why is Tomb Raider better than Uncharted?
Uncharted’s strength has always been story telling, set pieces and brilliantly mixing gameplay, cinematics and set pieces. I found the new Tomb Raider trilogy to have better stealth and adventure elements than Uncharted. However, I think Uncharted’s gunplay is a bit better than Tomb Raider’s.

Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb raider follow a story, and I highly suggest you play it. Both games can be finished rather fast. And they look amazing. I do think that before Shadow, Rise was the benchmark test on PC’s when it came to gaming.

That’s a difficult question, if you only want one game. I’d just say get the trilogy (Legend, Anniversary and Underworld) as well as the first game of the new series (the one that’s just called “Tomb Raider”). Now, these two are quite different. The Trilogy is more about dungeon-puzzling, while the new game is more about action.
