Personally I would say that a Dark Terror would be fine, having played one they are far louder than 15 watts suggest and given how I have never played a gig that didnt involve mic’ing up I just presumed most people did.

You shouldn’t need much time to warm-up the preamp tube. Hybrid amps usually will have no sound for 3-5 seconds when first turned on and then ramp up pretty fast once the preamp tube is hot. There should be no cutting-out after that.
