How to spend a day in Rhodes?
If you have a spare day or two while in Rhodes Town, walk down early in the morning to Mandraki Harbour. There are boats offering day trips going to Lindos, the island of Symi or to go diving. I strongly recommend taking the trip to the Island of Symi. The boat calls in to the Monastery at Panormitis for an hour, before going to Symi town.
