The standard small-block Chevy (SBC) uses a 1.5:1-ratio rocker arm. A 1.6:1-ratio rocker arm translates the same 0.350 inch of camshaft-lobe lift into 0.560 inch of valve lift (0.350 inch x 1.6 = 0.560 inch).
How does rocker arm ratio affect lift?
An increase in rocker arm ratio nets more than additional lift. It will also change the cam’s duration characteristics. Because the increased ratio effectively speeds up valve movement, that means the valve will reach any opening height sooner than it would with a lower-ratio rocker arm.

Do roller rockers need adjustment?
Adjusting your roller rockers is very important. If they are too tight or too loose you can cause damage to several parts of you motor. Turn your motor over until your exhaust rocker just starts to press down on the valve spring, that is when you will adjust your intake valve for that cylinder.
What size rocker studs should I get?
BIG difference between 3/8 and 7/16 when it comes to rocker studs. Crane Golds would work well too! Make that another vote for the 7/16″ studs if you have to buy rockers anyways. And might as well get the tall poly locks to add a stud girdle later.

Just get good quality ones like ARP. However, if you are also buying rocker arms you may want to go ahead and get the 7/16″ studs and rockers. Overkill that won’t cost you much more money.
