What is BI Publisher used for?
BI Publisher enables you to design and create report layout templates with the more common desktop applications of Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, and renders XML data based on those templates. With a single template, it can generate reports in many formats (PDF, RTF, Excel, HTML, and so on) in many languages.
What is XML bursting?
XML Bursting can be used to split one XML File into multiple XML Blocks. These individual xml blocks can then be used to generate reports and even use different layouts. You can also deliver the reports to multiple destinations based on a XML Element.
