The solution for injection is used to treat pain and inflammation associated with orthopaedic or soft tissue surgery.

The most commonly reported adverse reactions were diarrhea, vomiting, and decreased appetite. Changes in the clinical pathology values were not considered clinically significant. Occurrences of hepatopathy, ataxia, skin lesions/urticaria, and anaphylaxis have been associated with the use of ONSIOR.
