Individuals must complete the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) training workshop for educator certification in New York State. The training addresses harassment, bullying, and discrimination prevention and intervention in schools. The length of the training is at least six clock hours.
Is there a test with the DASA workshop?
The workshop is 100% online. After 6 hours, you will need to pass the test with at least 70% to earn credit. To earn credit for the workshop you must pass the course test. .
Does the DASA workshop expire?
Certification as a provider is valid for three years. Applications must be accompanied by supporting materials and a $600 application processing fee if required, see the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education Subpart 57-4. Certification is valid for three years.
