McRoy 4 years ago The TR-7/8 is and was a blight on the entire motor car industry, and forecast the end of Triumph as a viable sports car, and British Leyland as a corporation. It was ugly and outdated before it even managed to pass prototyping, and it’s ugliness has not stood the test of time.

Is the TR7 a comfortable cruising car?
The TR7 (and TR8) are comfortable cruising cars. I drove my 75 from FL to MA in 2 days with no issues and was comfortable the whole way. A couple of TR7 detractor friends bought TR7’s to “shut me up” and both are extremely happy they bought the cars.
