What age can you give Colief?

Colief Infant Drops can be used at every feeding until the baby is 3 to 4 months old, by which time the signs of colic should have disappeared.

Which is better Infacol or Colief?
I’d say try infacol first – it’s much easier to use and cheaper as well. It works for some babies really well but not for others. I’d say if it doesn’t work in a few days then try colief. It’s a bit of a pain to use especially if you’re breastfeeding as it has to be mixed with milk but it really seemed to help my baby.
Does Colief have side effects?
Does Colief have any side effects? When babies begin taking milk treated with Colief®, there may be a change in stool pattern. The stools may then resemble those of a breastfed baby-looser and more frequent-even if formula feeding.
Do you have to leave Colief for half an hour?
The rule is that you cannot use this feed until 4 hrs is up and it must be used within 12 hrs. She usually staggers making up feeds to work it out that she always has a feed in the fridge ready in time for baby’s feed, which is about every 3 hrs.

Is colief better than dentinox?
Dentinox and colief are completely different, dentinox making the bubbles bigger in an attempt they’re easier to pass, whereas colief is something to do with breaking down enzymes. So hard to say what would be for the best. However there is a pretty hefty price difference.

Comfort milk ostensibly does the same as Colief – it’s already had much of the lactose removed, and it’s also slightly thicker so it makes it harder for babies to gulp it, which means less wind.
Can you use Gaviscon and Colief together?
Hi, yes you can use both together. I have had it recently for LO and the gaviscon worked well in keeping the formula down – LO has severe reflux and it is worth a try.
