All staff, students and visitors to the University enjoy a flat rate for parking on weekends. The fee ($10.00 for Gardens Point and $5.00 for Kelvin Grove) applies per calendar day for each entry. Transport Systems operates a number of reserved parking locations for staff and students who hold a parking permit.

Yes! There is free parking in Brisbane city! If you are quick you can use King George Square council parking for under 15 minutes for free.
Is parking free in Brisbane at the moment?
Free on-street parking Please note time restrictions still apply and will be enforced. For example, in a 2P Meter 7am-7pm, Monday to Friday zone, customers can park for a maximum time of up to two hours then must remove their vehicle from the zone. Customers that overstay the parking limit may receive a fine.
