One of Whistler’s best kept secrets for beginner skiers and riders is the Whistler magic chair lift ticket. At only $20 per day, it is the perfect opportunity for first time skiiers, or families with young children, to get a taste of whistler, without the price tag.
What time is first chair in Whistler?
The base lifts (that upload from Whistler Village, Blackcomb Base and Creekside) all have an opening time of 8:30am but will often start loading 10 to 15 minutes early if Ski Patrol allows. Once up on the mountain, enjoy your first three laps with little or no lift line.

Does Whistler lift ticket include peak to peak?
Our lift ticket allows you to access the whole mountain. The best way to enjoy both Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain is via the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola. Yes, you buy a one price ticket, it includes the Gondola up and the PeK to Peak.
Is Whistler skiing Open 2021?
Whistler Blackcomb is slated to open November 25 for the 2021/22 season! Many of our guests have already started booking for the winter season, but Blackcomb Peaks still has a nice variety of accommodations available for opening weekend and through the winter – check availability here!
Does Whistler sell out?
While we do not anticipate every day at every resort will sell out during these three time periods, guests planning to visit during these dates are strongly encouraged to secure their lift access in advance.
Can a beginner ski Whistler?
Beginners can ski throughout almost the entire Whistler Blackcomb ski resort on easy slopes. The valley runs to Whistler are easy. However, beginners should take the gondola lift down to Whistler Creekside. The many easy and wide slopes make the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort a paradise for beginners.
