The radio sounds as good as it ever did, which is excellent, the reception is also excellent and undiminished, but none of that really matters when it’s so difficult to use. Crane company certainly DOES care about the long-term usability of its radios, and just as important, it really cares about its customers.

Sound quality as good as your could expect from small speaker. FM works as well as other radios. May seem like a lot of money for ‘just a radio’ but it seems to be a solid piece of engineering. The AM section is completely dead and the FM reception seems much less powerful.
