The sand is white, soft and clear. There are a few spots where there are some rocks deeper out, but you just have to move away from that section of the beach. Most of the beach is perfectly clean underfoot. They have a lot of space to camp out, and the per car fee is $12 for out of state visitors ($6 for residents).
