Use your interdental brushes once or twice a day to clean between your teeth, remembering to use these brushes at the same time that you usually brush your teeth. Using a brush that is the right size for your teeth, gently work the brush into the gaps between your teeth and brush it back and forth to remove plaque.

TePe Pink
TePe Pink is the smallest TePe interdental brush. It is usually used for tiny anterior spaces or endodontic canal scrubbing. The wire is 0.4 mm and the diameter of the brush with tiny bristles is 0.6 mm. The neck of the brush is made of a soft plastic that allows you to bend it.
How do I know what size interdental brush I need?
The brush should fit comfortably into the gap between your teeth. Inserting it should only require slight pressure. If it feels like you’re forcing it, stop and try a smaller size. Your dentist will be able to measure the spaces between your teeth and advise you of the interdental brush size(s) you should use.
Are TePe interdental brushes reusable?
You can reuse the TePe interdental brushes but discard the brush when the bristles are becoming bent or worn. Your dentist will recommend which colours of interdental brush you should use, and will demonstrate how to use them correctly. You can also use dental floss to clean between the teeth.

For the best cleaning results, you want the brush to be in perfect shape and the bristles to be intact enough to clean all those hard to reach places. So, I tell my patients to change their brush once a week. You don’t want all that teeth cleaning diligence to be let down by a worn out brush!
