Why is my trumpet playing getting worse?
It sounds like you were playing a lot, with all the ensembles plus the practice time. Make sure you’re giving your face enough down time. If you’ve got full day of playing ahead of you make sure you get a good warm up in the morning (not too taxing) and then some rest before your first ensemble.
Should brass players ice their lips?
