Is the Boston Aquarium open with Covid?
While the Edge of the Sea touch tank is closed to visitors right now, all the other exhibits are open. There will be no presentations at this time, but visitors will still be able to ask questions of our knowledgeable educators and watch Animal Care staff care for our animals in the exhibits.

Visitors should plan to spend two hours at the New England Aquarium. This will give you enough time to explore the animal exhibits and touch tanks. You should plan for more time if you want to take the whale watch tours, which last three to four hours, or the IMAX films, which last between 35 and 45 minutes.
