Does everyone get into CTY?
CTY is unlike most colleges and universities in that you can get into its programs even if you only do well on one section of the SAT. If you find that you’re getting practice scores around 490 on Math but 600 on Reading and Writing, own it.

…you don’t have any interest in taking part in any of the CTY programs or using any of their other resources, THEN it might not be worth it to do CTY at Johns Hopkins. Bottom line: if you’re going to use the resources and take advantage of the programs open to you through CTY, then do it.
