Do Ergo baby carriers need infant insert?
If you are using an Ergobaby Original or Ergobaby All Position 360 Carrier, you will need an infant insert when wearing your baby between 3.2-5.5kgs / 7-12lbs or approx. newborn to 4 months old. Our Adapt and Omni 360 carriers can be used from newborn (min. 3.2kgs/7lbs) with no need for an insert.
Does Ergo 360 have a pocket?
Keep in Mind: The 360 requires the use of an infant insert for smaller babies. The straps do not cross on your back and this carrier has no pockets. Some people find the Ergobaby shoulder straps to be bulkier than those found on other carriers.
Is Ergobaby embrace safe for newborns?
The Embrace can be used from birth with a minimum weight requirement of 7lbs/3.2kg and minimum height of 20in/50.8cm up to 25lbs/11.3kg, which is roughly 12 months. It really excels at being used for your baby’s first few months – our daughter, although long for her age, fitted snuggly at the ‘kissable height’.
Can you sit with Ergobaby carrier?

What age does Ergobaby go up to?
The recommended age range of the Ergobaby 360 Cool Air is the same as our Four Position 360 baby carriers. It supports babies from 12 up to 45 lbs / 5,5 kg up to 20 kg with the carrier only, and babies from 7 to 12 lbs / 3,2 to 5, 5 kg with the use of the Ergobaby Infant Insert (sold separately).
Can I sit down with Ergobaby?
Don’t lie down while using a baby carrier. Babies need to stay in an upright position in their baby carrier, so if you need to lie down, take your baby out of her carrier first.
How long can you use the Ergobaby embrace?
