Can you put audio on CD-R?
Traditionally, blank CD-R discs could only burn music, while DVD-R discs could burn videos. Whereas a CD-R usually has a storage limit of 10 to 20 songs, a DVD-R can store up to 100 songs. What format are music files on a CD?
Audio CDs always contain uncompressed PCM stereo audio at 44,100 Hz sample rate, 16-bit sample format. So to burn an audio CD, export the file(s) you want to burn as a 44,100 Hz 16-bit stereo WAV or AIFF file.
