Can I do MTech while doing job in TCS?
You can pursue M. Tech. from IITM, Chennai. You have to have a 2 years of work experience in TCS and a valid shortlisting GATE score.
Is distance MTech valid for Phd?
Yes, you are applicable for Ph. D course after master in engineering course in distance mode. You must have done your masters from recognised Indian institution. You can apply for National Eligibility Test which is an all india level Ph.
Is GATE compulsory for MTech in IIT?
No..its no at all compulsory. But if you are thinking to do masters in India, then GATE is the best. Even if you spend a year in preparation, no problem, go for GATE.
Does IIT provide distance?
“The IITs are competent to offer such courses. Online courses will be conducted through virtual classroom for students both in India and abroad. Virtual laboratories will be there for practicals. They will not be distance education programmes at all,” official sources told DH.
