Are Eldon Cards reliable?
RESULT : The cards are portable, compact, and easy to use and give the reliable results within one minute. All cards showed a very good agglutination result. On comparison with the conventional method, no disparity was observed.

How do I read my EldonCard results?
How does the EldonCard function? The dried antibody reagents can be seen in circles on the ELDONCARD as spots coloured green for Anti-A, red for Anti-B, yellow for Anti-D. A control circle with a blue spot serves to verify that the result is valid.
Do Eldon cards expire?
EldonCards should be stored between 5 and 37 °C (41 and 99 °F). When kept inside this temperature range, the cards are stable for 2 years. The expiry date (see “Symbols”) is printed on the label in the format yyyy-mm-dd.
Do home blood type tests work?
Are home blood type kits accurate? Yes! At home blood type kids can be a bit tricky to interpret but are indeed accurate. A selfless visit to a blood donor clinic a few weeks later CONFIRMED I am indeed a B- and the test kit was correct.
Does Eldon blood test hurt?
It’s not painful, just a quick prick. I found the little white sticks to not work all that well. The test requires you to give at least 4 full drops of blood from one tiny lancet prick, which was pretty hard! I definitely bled enough, but it just smeared on my finger and didn’t want to drop down onto the sticks.
