Spellsteal is a core mage ability learned at level 70. It steals a magic buff from a single unfriendly target. The stolen buff will benefit the mage for up to two minutes, but never more than the duration remaining on the target from which it was stolen. Spellsteal was introduced in the Burning Crusade expansion.

Paladin bubbles, then the mob changes to the other target. The mobs don’t going to continue attacking an ‘immune’ target. It’s not so much that it’s a ‘threat’ drop, it’s that NPC’s will only attack stuff they can potentially kill. The same deal applies when you use blessing of protection (and other similar items).
Does shattering throw break divine shield?
Latest build 9722. I tested Shattering Throw against paly divine shield, bop and mage iceblock. It removes all of them!
