What does the MultiRAE pro detect?
The MultiRAE Pro is the industry’s first wireless multi-threat detection tool that combines continuous monitoring capabilities for gamma radiation, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), toxic, combustible gases, and oxygen, with Man Down Alarm functionality in one highly portable instrument.
What is a multi Rae?
MultiRAE is the most advanced portable chemical detector on the market. With the flexibility of up to six gas sensors and the convenience of wireless portability, this multi-gas monitor is versatile and customizable, while delivering real-time access to instrument readings and alarm status from any location.
What sensors Cannot be installed in the MultiRAE pro at the same time?
Due to cross-sensitivity issue, when purchasing an instrument, the following sensors cannot be installed together in the MultiRAE Family: Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), H2S-HR or Carbon Monoxide-Hydrogen Sulfide (COSH)
Why is isobutylene used for calibration?
Isobutylene is used because it is near the midpoint ionization point of most voCs and is not flammable or toxic at low concentrations used in calibration. users simply multiply the instrument reading (calibrated for isobutylene) by the response factor to obtain the corrected value for the compound of interest.
How do I download data from MultiRAE?
The MultiRAE communicates with a PC running PRoRAE Studio II instrument configuration and Data Management software to download datalogs, configure the instrument, or upgrade the instrument firmware. Use the supplied PC communications cable (USB to Mini USB cable) to connect the Cradle or Travel Charger to a PC.
How do you check gas detector bump?
To do this, put the gas detector into bump test mode, then apply the gas. The gas detector will either cycle through each individual sensor or do them all at once, depending on the gas detector’s settings. After the test is complete, the monitor will display results, showing whether it passed or failed the bump test.
