Do you have to live on campus freshman year at Butler?
All newly admitted Butler University students must fill out the housing application regardless of whether they plan to live on campus or commute from home. Depending on the size of the incoming class, first-year students may be placed in one of the following residence halls: Irvington House or Residential College.
Where do freshmen live at Butler?

Does Butler University have a dress code?
The Butler picture ID (obtained in the Hubbard Center) must be worn with the uniform or lab coat any time the student is in the clinical setting. Clean, professional looking leather or synthetic closed toed shoes (not canvas) are to be worn.

Students must live on campus for 6 semesters before they can live off-campus. Exceptions to this policy, or requests to live at home as a commuter student, must be approved in advance by the Butler University Residence Life.

Yes. You can still use the Roommate Matching system to find a compatible roommate; however, if you do not wish to use Roommate Matching, you may select any available room/bed space in the community of your choice and learn about the other student who chooses that room by clicking on their profile.
Does BC3 have dorms?
Butler County Community College has NO residence halls and does NOT supervise or approve housing for students. The BC3 Admissions Office does, however, maintain a list of currently available apartment and room rentals in the Butler area as shown on this page.

Does Baylor have guaranteed housing?
Students who complete the Housing Application after May 1 are guaranteed housing and will receive their assignment the second week of June. The Housing Application requires you to select your top four preferences of communities in which you would like to live.
