Is LEGO DUPLO discontinued?
Those Duplo ranges have been discontinued, but Duplo sets now include farm, zoo, town, castle, and pirate lines. A doll house and princess castle are available as of 2008. Some Duplo sets have cars, trucks, and buildings which cannot be disassembled.
Can LEGO trains run on DUPLO track?

How do DUPLO action bricks work?
Action bricks add a whole new layer of Create & Connect fun to your LEGO® DUPLO® trains. Placing the action bricks on the track allows you to decide which actions the train takes when it passes over them. When laid on the track, the yellow action brick will sound the horn every time the train glides by.
Do Lego and Duplo fit together?
DUPLO® and LEGO® bricks are compatible, so you can use them together. LEGO® bricks will fit on DUPLO® parts as long as the DUPLO® ones have hollow studs on top. In case you’re wondering, the only DUPLO® parts that don’t have the hollow studs are baseplates.

How does Duplo Lego train work?
Push-And-Go and Hold-To-Stop requires that the train is On. To make the train go, push it in the desired direction. To stop the train, hold it by hand. The train will also stop if movement is otherwise prevented.
