Quick Start

  1. Install Hercules DJ driver on your computer.
  2. Install DJUCED™ software on your computer.
  3. Plug your speakers in DJControl Instinct P8 Mix Out (rear panel)
  4. Plug your headphones in DJControl Instinct P8 headphones output (front panel)

What software does Hercules DJ use?

The controller cannot browse in Spotify, or scratch on the tracks from Spotify, or control the Play, cue, loop functions, as Spotify is not integrated in Djuced. NB: The only DJ software controlling Spotify tracks is Djay Pro, which is only for Mac OS (not compatible with Windows).

To be clear, the Hercules DJControl Instinct is natively supported by the latest version of Virtual DJ (i.e. no need to install any mapper) and will be automatically recognized by the software, IF your console is correctly installed and recognized by the computer.

Login with your virtualdj.com account. A Pro Infinity, a Pro Subscription or a PLUS License is required to use the Hercules DJ Control Wave. Without any of the above Licenses, the controller will operate for 10 minutes each time you restart VirtualDJ. A detection window will appear next verifying the proper connection.

Does Hercules 200 work with Serato?

Being only compatible with Hercules controllers, who only produce products for the beginner market, it’s not a software you can move forward with. Serato, Rekordbox and even Virtual DJ will provide a library and software platform that you can use with more expensive equipment as you progress.
