How long does the MACI take to administer?

Who qualifies for a MACI procedure?
Who is a candidate for MACI? MACI is approved for the repair of single or multiple symptomatic, full-thickness cartilage defects of the knee (with or without bone involvement) in adults aged 18-55.
When can we do OATS procedure?
The OATS process is only effective in cases of focal cartilage repair and for isolated areas that are limited to 10 to 20 millimeters in size. This type of damage is most commonly seen in younger people. The OATS procedure prevents the damage from getting worse over time.
