Kilt hire is a simple way to experience the Scottish traditions before making a commitment to an exquisite tartan purchase. Our kilt rentals are provided in a simple package to include a woollen kilt, Prince Charlie Jacket, dress sporran, and more to complete the long-established timeless look.
How long can I hire a kilt for?
How long is the kilt hire? Our standard kilt hire is for 4 nights. We would normally suggest collecting the outfit 2 days before your function and returning 2 days after.
What do you need for a kilt outfit?
There are three basic types of shirts that can be paired with your kilt:
- The ghillie shirt. This is a traditional, loose-fitting shirt that you wear without a tie.

Measure from the navel to just over the top of the kneecap: the kilt should just overlap the top of your kneecap and sit in the crease of the back of your knee. It is important that you also provide us with your height, as this will mean we will be able to tell if the measurements you have taken seem correct.
