Can you add links to tire chains?
Depending on the type of tire chains you have, you may be able to add a few links on the inside to better fit your wider tires. As long as you have the proper tools and make sure the added width and links don’t interfere with the truck’s brake line, this should work just fine.

First, make sure that you lie one chain on top of the other. Then, at the end that has the large cam attachment pieces, fold those in towards the center of the chains. Then start rolling them up. Going slowly will help to maintain a tight roll.
