What is an intake plenum?
The Intake Plenum is a part of your vehicle’s intake manifold. During the fuel distribution, the pressure in the manifold should be higher than that in the cylinders during their intake stroke. The intake plenum’s function is to produce this high pressure. It is basically a pressurized air enclosure.
What causes high intake manifold pressure?

What is intake port?

What is intake manifold pressure?
The intake manifold pressure sensor measures the intake manifold vacuum that exists in the intake manifold after the throttle. The measured values of the intake manifold pressure sensor and the intake air temperature sensor are required to calculate the intake air mass.
Can intake manifold damage engine?
If the intake manifold is bad, it can mess with the engine’s air-fuel mixture, which can then mess with the engine’s performance. You may see a reduction in power, uneven acceleration, and even backfiring.
What is a water plenum?
