What is the success rate of Abraxane?
RESULTS: The treatment completion rate of the 4 cycles was 90.9%. The objective response rate was 13.6% and the disease control rate was 63.6%. The median progression-free survival was 7.2 months. The most common grade 3 or higher hematological toxicity was neutropenia (72.7%).

How much does nab-paclitaxel cost?
Using the median number of cycles administered and the cost impact of grade III/ IV toxicity, the overall cost for nab-paclitaxel would be $15,105 compared to $15,268 for docetaxel and $3557 for paclitaxel.
How effective is nab-paclitaxel?
Patients ≥65 years (median: 69) were analyzed. In phase 2 (n = 52), overall response rates (ORR) for weekly nab-paclitaxel were 60–64% vs 22% for q3w nab-paclitaxel and 32% for docetaxel.
How successful is paclitaxel?
Many of the patients in these studies have received previous chemotherapy regimens. Nevertheless, response rates with weekly paclitaxel up to 86% have been achieved with single-agent therapy, up to 87% with combination therapy and up to 100% when combined with radiotherapy.
