Why do National Trust members have to pay to park at Tatton Park?
We are members of the National Trust so we had free access to the house and the gardens which are beautiful. You do have to pay for parking even if a NT member. there is a little park for the children and a little farm too which once again has a seperate charge.
Who lives at Tatton Park now?
It is a popular visitor attraction and hosts over a hundred events annually. The estate is owned by the National Trust, who administer it jointly with Cheshire East Council. Since 1999, it has hosted North West England’s annual Royal Horticultural Society flower show.
Is Tatton Park dog friendly?
Tatton Park welcomes dogs in the Parkland, Farm and Stableyard outdoor area under close control. Unfortunately, we are unable to permit dogs to swim in the Meres, or go inside the Gardens, Play Area, Mansion, Old Hall and shops.

Is there free parking at Tatton Park?
It is free outside of these hours, all day on weekends and on National Holidays. On-street parking is $0.25 per every 15 minutes. Meters restrict your stay to 1,2 or 4 hours, depending on the area. Parking can be paid with coins, SMARTCARD, or using PayByPhone.
