Can I shoot video with Nikon D3000?
Nikon D3000 does not support live view or video recording. It is a classic DSLR. It was introduced in 2009 soon after first live view DSLRs but as it is an entry level model it does not include it. Canon’s comparable EOS 1000D has live view but no video.
