Do I qualify for Birthright Israel?
Am I eligible? Birthright Israel trips are open to all Jewish young adults, ages 18 to 32 years* old who have not participated on an educational trip since they turned 18 and/or lived in Israel past the age of 12.
How do I get my deposit back from birthright?
You will get your deposit back as long as you: (a) go on the trip, (b) withdraw before your official trip confirmation, or (c) cancel off a confirmed trip at least 45 days before departure.

How do you staff a birthright trip?

How does Birthright Israel work?
You must have at least one Jewish birth parent or have converted to Judaism to be eligible for Birthright Israel. This trip is a chance to discover Israel and explore your Jewish identity, whether it be cultural or spiritual. We welcome participants from diverse backgrounds so you’ll fit right in.
Can you drink on birthright?
It is forbidden to buy (or be in possession of) bottles or multiple cans of alcoholic drinks of any kind; from supermarkets, grocery stores, kiosks, duty free, or anywhere else. Staff are not permitted to drink during the course of the 10 day trip. Staff may not purchase alcohol for participants.

Is Birthright Israel actually free?
